ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!

I truly never thought I would care about the University of Alabama.

But since my beloved Tim Tebow and Florida Gators absolutely fell apart lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game, it seems that I have no choice. No way I'm going to cheer for UT.


I am a life long Texan and I honestly doubt I could ever live anywhere else. Other than a penthouse in New York City, but I would have to win the lottery first and since I don't play, that's out.

But.

I despise, abhor, detest, hate STRONGLY dislike the University of Texas.


I went to Texas Tech and I was basically born hating UT. Texas Tech hates them, they hate us. It works quite well for us.


They have terrible attitudes. They think they hung the moon, when in fact it wasn't them; Dr. McDreamy did that. They act as if they are the only university in the entire state of Texas. They whine, constantly. Their school colors are pewk orange and white. Their school song is unoriginal (they stole it from Texas--cheaters!). They have this sense of entitlement that just makes me crazy. They pay their coaches 5 million dollars a year (which is waaaaayyyy too much for a collegiate football coach to make, but don't get me started on that). They taunt us when they come here, even after we proved that they do did not deserve to be number one.

Allow me to refresh your memory.


They are just bad news. And they make me crazy. I think they are way overrated and need to be brought down a billion trillion zillion notches (Yes, I can count that high).

And, their coach, Mack Brown, is already a champion whiner. He also happens to have the biggest ego in the world. And it's only fair... he is already a champion whiner, why not share the love? (That's the state capital in Austin, where the UT campus is as well.)


And, while I am slightly concerned that Alabama has an elephant as their mascot (I just think it's odd), I'm still going to be cheering on the Crimson Tide tonight.


Come on boys, don't let me down!


**Disclaimer: I have family that went to UT and I do my best not to hold it against them. Wink wink... they know I couldn't care less where they went to school, but it makes for a great sense of competition, which I LOVE. I just have issues with the school, but it just because of rivalry and being a Red Raider girl from birth; UT is a great school... I certainly don't wish harm on Corky Colt McCoy or any of the Longhorns tonight. I just don't want them to win.
