I LOVE the Olympics.
I want to be a figure skater. I want the body of one, and I would LOVE to have that much balance.
I could never be a half-pipe snowboarder. Yikes.
I don't understand why people compete in long distance skiing. I understand the concept of doing the things you love, but how can one love skiing so much that you literally collapse at the end out of pure exhaustion? And I wonder if anyone has told them how ridiculous they look when they are skiing?
Apolo Anton Ohno totally broke a record the other night... he didn't get the gold, but I'm pretty sure my husband will be back in top form for his next race! I love you, honey bunch!
Well, it's back to studying for my test tomorrow watching figure skating for me. I really hope the old(er) people from China (Shen and Zhao) win... they've gotten sooooo close and just haven't made it yet to the podium yet. They are married and are just so cute and technically beautiful. This is their last chance (they have already said they aren't going to come back to try again) and they are Of course, I wouldn't be going for the Chinese if there were Americans in the running, but there aren't this year. So... go Shen and Zhao!
Hopefully tomorrow I will be back with something more exciting than professing my love for my husband and the Vancouver Olympics.
