It's a par-tay!

So, as promised, I have some 90th birthday pics from Fort Worth. :)

Happy Birthday, Papa. You are THE BEST grandpa in the world. I'm such a lucky girl and I love you so so much!

The most delicious chocolate cake I've ever had. Heaven, I tell you.


My cousin's little boy, Oliver, spent tons of time with Meemaw. He is very obviously in heaven. So precious!


Meemaw clearly loved the cake! I love that woman.


The birthday boy... I'm so grateful for all the 90 years he has spent on the earth.


This delish cake is for me?!?!? How dare you taunt me with it... my Diabetes will be out of whack for, oh, 900 years if I have even a tiny piece. It should be noted that didn't stop him from having one!


Papa's request for his birthday dinner was to eat at Edelweiss, a German restaurant in Fort Worth. Being the incredible folks we are, we obliged. Some "authentic" Germans came over to him to pose for a pic and sang him a little song.


Yes, this "German" is wearing a chicken hat in order to lead the guests in the Chicken Dance. I find this absolutely hysterical. I give him an E for effort... he was trying so hard to rock the place!


All in all, it was a FANTASTIC weekend. I have the most amazing family ever and seriously, how adorable are my grandparents?! I wish they were immortal; I'm not sure I could live without them.
