Chevys and Fords

It's another edition of roses and thorns--this time, Chevys shall be roses and thorns shall be Fords (or Fix Or Repair Daily, as my Dad would say).

Chevys

Chevys to Spring Break

Chevys to a great family vacations

Chevys to cold weather

Chevys to my electric blanket. Oh, and my space heater. My Momma loves me :)

Chevys to reading at least a book a day---I might be a nerd, but it was bliss!

Chevys to Fazoli's

Chevys to hanging out with long lost friends

Chevys to March Madness

Chevys to awesome humor

Chevys to having a relatively easy school week ahead. I can do it. :)

Chevys to Sophie Grace finally learning how to jump. Blog about her coming soon, promise.

The most gorgeous Chevy I've ever seen to not having a test in 10 days. Do I hear the hallelujah chorus? If not, someone better start singing STAT.

Chevys to the Tech guy's AND girl's basketball teams advancing in the WNIT and NIT tournament. Fight Raiders Fight!

Chevys to Dancing with the Stars on Monday night!

Chevys to a really great quote I saw on Facebook: "Bro’s before ho’s. Why? Because your bro’s are always there for you. They’ve got your back after your ho rips your heart out for no good reason. And you were nothing but great to your ho. And you told her that she was the only ho for you and that she was better than all the other ho’s in the world. And then…and then suddenly she’s not your ho no mo." OMG---hilarious!

Chevys to another great quote: "Our biggest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

Chevys to the Blindside being on my doorstep on Tuesday. I hereby declare Tuesday as "Lay on the Couch and watch Blindside Day". With my two pups, of course.

Chevys to Ginger Ale

Chevys to Sonic selling bags of ice again. Yum-o!

Fords

Fords for the end of spring break

Fords to sinus headaches

Fords to Jesse James supposedly cheating on Sandra Bullock... so not cool. I still heart you, Sandy.

Fords to bad attitudes

Fords to fighting with people I care about about really stupid things

Fords to Kansas being dethroned today. And Fords to Kentucky probably being pretty much uncontested from here to Indy. I haven't watched them much, but that John Wall punk from Kentucky has a pretty bad attitude, and they are cocky, which I will never ever cheer for. And, I was hoping the Big 12 would make it to the finals--it means more money for us Raiders.

Fords to my Mom's gently used Toyota acting retarded while on vacation. (It should be noted that her cute little SUV is NOT on the massive recall list--it's only new to her, not straight from the factory.)

Fords to delaying of Celine's new documentary thing---I've already pre-ordered it, but the release date has already been pushed back a week. *Sigh*

Fords to really random emotional breakdowns
