Makes ya go WOW!!!

Sometimes, there are things that I see on the internet, and all I can say is WOW. I mean, seriously. WOW. This will be a post of such things.

Can you even imagine standing in these shoes by Yves Saint Laurent? Much less walking in them!

These Alexander McQueen's are not only weird looking, but they would be crazy hard to walk in. Lady Gaga did it and made it look easy in her music video. Only her.

I doubt those straps provide much support. 5 inch heels anyone? Head to Fendi (and spend the same amount of money on a single pair of shoes as my parents spent toward my entire college education). I'm just sayin'.

If you hit up Forever 21, you can get even more high heels (at a much better price than offered at Fendi).

Not only are these high heels, they are insanely UGLY high heels.

If you prefer dominatrix heels, head on over to Gucci.

Versace has these for the price of 10 BMWs. What a dilemma: car, shoes, car, shoes. I'll take the Beamer!

Last but not least, let's not forget the 7 inch heels.

Disclaimer: In reality, I have no clue how much these shoes cost. I've never really been a "shoe girl" (I prefer purses), but I know the big name brands. Gucci/Versace/Fendi/Yve Saint Laurent/Alexander McQueen are the "big names" in fashion (among others, obviously). While the price comparisons may have been a bit exaggerated, there's no way in the world I would ever pay anywhere close to the legit amount (probably at LEAST $1000 bucks a piece) for these shoes. It just blows my mind what people spend on shoes. I'm sure they say the same things about me and some of the things I spend my my parent's money on. To each their own.

And now for more crazy expensive things.

The world's most expensive cigar: $1,150 a piece. For that price, these handmade (in Honduras) cigars better light and smoke themselves.

World's most expensive hotel room: $65,000 a night.
This palatial suite, which occupies an entire floor of the hotel and measures 18,083 square feet, has 10 rooms and seven bathrooms. It was renovated in January 2009 to add a new private fitness area. Located in Geneva, Switzerland.

World's most expensive bicycle: $114,464
This 24-carat gold plated bike comes with it's very own gold plated wall rack. And contains 600 Swarovski crystals. Who needs a Chevy when you can pedal in luxury?

World's most expensive golf club: $181,000
Apparently there is an "A.D" stamp on this club from the oldest known club maker who "marked his clubs" (whatever that means; I had no idea they had markings).

World's most expensive chess set: $600,000
This game board is encrusted with diamonds (320 carats of black and white diamonds) and two kilograms of 14 carat white gold. I'd be afraid to play with it!

World's most expensive motorcycle: $700,000
The Dodge bike is a 1,500-lb. motorcycle with four wheels, a Dodge Viper's V10 engine and can go from zero to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds. The top speed is estimated to be more than 300 mph. How in the world does that make it worth $700,000? I'll never know.

World most expensive speakers: $2 million per pair
These speaker units span 37 feet and weigh 5 tons. All units are made from aircraft aluminum and have stands in polished red or black granite. The assembly line for these bad boys? Six months.

World's most expensive television: $2.3 million
Some Swiss millionaire longed for a "special" TV. So he took a 55-inch PrestigeHD television and covered it in 28 kilograms of 18-carat rose gold and 72 diamonds. Alligator skin was hand sewn into the bezel. Hopefully HD is included.
World's most expensive guitar: $2.7 million
World renown music artists autographed this Fender guitar and later auctioned it off for charity, benefiting the tsunami victims.

World's most expensive cell phone: $2.97 million
This is a 22-carat gold iPhone studded with 53 diamonds for an unnamed Australian businessman. It features 18-carat rose gold with hundreds of diamonds, including a single-cut, 7.1-carat diamond for the main navigation button.

World's most expensive ring: $16.26 million
The rock from Titanic has nothing on this rock.

World's most expensive car: $24 million
The 1954-1955 Mercedes-Benz W196 is a staggering $24 million.

World's most expensive watch: $25 million
Chopard’s colorful, glittery timepiece sold in early 2000 for a reported $25 million. The watch has 201 carats of pink, blue, and white diamonds, including a 15-carat, heart-shaped pink diamond, a 12-carat, heart-shaped blue diamond, and an 11-carat, heart-shaped white diamond. The hearts spring open to expose the yellow diamond-studded watch face. The bracelet has 163 carats of white and yellow pear-shaped diamonds. And if you ask me, this watch is beyond ugly. Barf.

World's most expensive private jet: $295 million
This jet, which has 4,786 square feet of cabin space, is the newest member of the 747 family. Boeing has sold seven 747-8 VIPs since May 2006 and will start delivering them next year. While the interior is intended to look less like a plane and more like home, Boeing does not furnish the inside of the jets—customers must hire interior designers, which can easily add millions of dollars in additional cost.

World's most expensive house: $1 billion
The most expensive house in the world, named Antilla by it's owner, is in downtown Mumbai, India, and will be the residence of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani. The 27-story, 570-foot-tall tower has a helipad, a health club, and a six-floor garage that can hold 168 cars. Each level has gardens. It will be serviced by a staff of 600 people. Some reports list the price of the house at $2 billion.

World's most expensive yacht: $1.2 billion
This 560-foot-long yacht has two helipads, 11 guest cabins, two swimming pools, three launch boats, an aquarium, and a minisubmarine that can dive to 50 meters below the ocean surface. The master bedroom and bridge have bulletproof glass, and the security system includes missile detection systems that warn of incoming rockets. The owner Roman Abramovich, a Russian billionaire reportedly fitted the yacht with a laser system that prevents paparazzi from taking photos. So there. He showed them.

I saw these things on the internet recently and thought it might make a fun blog post. I can't imagine spending that kind of money on these things, no matter how rich I am one day.

I might not have a yacht, my own plane, or even a bedazzled iPhone. But honestly, I couldn't care less. What I do have is a house that's paid for, a family to die for and a God who is worth more to me than anything money can buy. And as an added bonus, I don't have to devise ways to get away from the paparazzi. I'll take my life any day.
